Dr. Tony L. Metoyer, CPsy.D

​

Dr. Tony L. Metoyer is the founder and president of Colorado Christian Bible Seminary, which is an online bible seminary dedicated to Biblical and Christian Counseling education.
Dr. Metoyer received his Call to Ministry from God in 1985. In response, within two months, he left his remodeling business to pursue a career and education in “Christian Counseling.” He has diverse experiences within the Mental Health field and Christian Ministry.
Dr. Metoyer began his private practice business and ministry, as the president and founder of Restoration Family Services (2011) with a focus in Marriage and Family Counseling, including Individual Counseling. His Call has proven to be an overwhelming success.
Dr. Metoyer is a Licensed Ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ, Inc., and is the Dean of Education – Kingdom Academy at Unity Pentecostal Temple COGIC located in Denver, CO. Christian Counselors Trainer for Colorado Community Fellowship Church for the Ecclesiastical Leadership Team.
Dr. Metoyer holds a CPsy.D., Doctorate Degree in Clinical Christian Counseling and Psychology, from Christian Bible Institute & Seminary; Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University; Bachelors of Science Degree in Christian Leadership and Organizational Management from Colorado Christian University. Formerly a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC II).

EVANGELIST MISSIONARY Angela Metoyer

​

Angela Metoyer is married to Dr. Tony L. Metoyer, President – Colorado Christian Bible Seminary with 3 adult children and 1 adult grand-daughter.

Serves as the Secretary/Dean of Administration for CCBS.

Education Experience is a Bachelor of Science Degree in ”Organizational Management” and a dual degree in “Management of Human Resources” from Colorado Christian University, Lakewood, CO  (1994).

Former “Certified Substitute Teacher” Colorado Aurora Public Schools (2002-2004). 

State of Colorado Certified Public Notary since 2006, and Certified State of Colorado Mentor.  Member of the BASE (Black American State Employees) Allyship.  

Retired from 22 years of service with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment – Unemployment Insurance (UI) Agency, as the Employer Services Tax Manager. Nominated for the Marquis “Who’s Who in America” (2021).

Licensed as an “Evangelist Missionary” from the Bertha Alice Washington Missionary Academy (Colorado) – Valedictorian by the Church of God in Christ, Inc. (2023). Facilitated a Women’s Support Group for seven years as an extension of the Christian Counseling Ministry/Business, “Restoration Family Services” (Aurora, CO).

Shannon Metoyer

Shannon Metoyer

​

Shannon Metoyer is the oldest son of Tony and Angela Metoyer and serves as the Chief Information Officer as well as the Co-Marketing Director for CCBS.

Shannon Metoyer has multiple certifications in the Technology field including AWS, Red Hat, and HTML; and has his Bachelors in Computer Science from Westwood College.

Shannon Metoyer is currently a Network Operations Engineer for Xylem Inc. with 10 years of Systems and Network Engineering Experience.

Shannon Metoyer is also the CEO of KMT Productions, a Multimedia Entertainment and Production company where he has helped customer's with Advertising, Audio and Video Production as well as Social Media Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Copywriting.

Brandon Metoyer

Brandon Metoyer

​

Brandon Metoyer the youngest son of Tony and Angela Metoyer, and is the treasurer and financial manager of (CCBS) Colorado Christian Bible Seminary, as well as the Co-Marketing Director.

Brandon Metoyer was one of the youngest Network Engineers ever at Charter Communications. He is currently a managing loan officer at Metoyer Mortgage dba ZPM and realtor at Success Realty Experts in Colorado.

Brandon Metoyer attended Colorado Christian University for his undergrad.

Amos  Woods

Reverend Amos Woods Jr.

​

Reverend Amos L. Woods Jr. is a devoted servant of God with an unwavering passion for His word and a deep-seated love for His people. His ministry is marked by a contagious spirit of humility that resonates through every aspect of his work.

Reverend Woods attended the University of Phoenix in Southfield, MI, where he studied Business Management, further enriching his perspective and contributing to his holistic approach to ministry.

He was ordained for ministry in the Churches of God in Christ in 1986, and he received his license in the Baptist Church in 2019. In 2022, he was ordained as an Elder in the Baptist Church, further solidifying his commitment and dedication to his faith.

Reverend Woods has also pursued higher education at Angelos Bible College in Portsmouth, VA, where he studied Biblical Studies, Christian Counseling, and Public Speaking.

Currently, Reverend Amos L. Woods Jr. serves as the Pastor of Greater New Harvest Church in Chesapeake, VA, where he continues to inspire and uplift his congregation with his insightful teachings and compassionate leadership.

Dr. Odie Kennedy

​

Dr. Odie Kennedy is the pastor of Unity Pentecostal Temple, located in Denver, CO. For more than 40 years, she served as the 1 st Lady and wife of the late Pastor Superintendent Lamar Kennedy, remains faithful today in full support of their mission and mission to “Reach the Lost At Any Cost.” Her labor was never compromised or interrupted as she was consecrated and ordained, accepting the pastoral mantle on June 25, 2017 in the Church of God in Christ. And since, she has evolved as a pastor and spiritual leader making impactful, life altering changes in the lives of the young and old, saved and unsaved, for the Kingdom of God. Pastor Odie Kennedy’s vocation is that of a warrior and her occupation is warfare.
 

Dr. Kennedy established the “Sister to Sister Interdenominational Women’s Fellowship Conference more than 20 years ago. She is impacting countless women of various denominations through her weekly blog “Pastor Odie Kennedy’s Pearls.” She serves tirelessly in her local, Divine Love District, and Jurisdiction of Colorado COGIC and affiliations with the Greater Metro Denver Ministerial Alliance as VP, Denver Internation Association of Minister’s Wives and Widows. Most notably, Dr. Kennedy Dr. Kennedy received her Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theology from Denver Urban Theological Institute in 2016 and was recognized for the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Legacy Award of Achievement by National Council of Negro Women, Denver Chapter in 2017. Currently, Dr. Kennedy is a Board Member of the Colorado Christian Bible Seminary.

Evangelist April Atchison

​

Evangelist April Atchison, a native of California, now resides in Aurora, Colorado, where she passionately combines her expertise in human resources and professional development with her deep commitment to ministry. With a career spanning over two decades, April has collaborated with universities, church organizations, and ministerial alliances across the Los Angeles and Denver areas, making a significant impact in each community.

​

After earning her Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University, April founded the Education Learning Institute, an organization dedicated to helping adult learners retool for academic success. Her love for teaching and commitment to Christian values—centered on community, education, and family success—have guided her throughout her professional journey.

​

In October 2012, April was licensed as a Missionary Evangelist in the Church of God in Christ, serving under the late Superintendent Martin Phillips. She excelled in coordinating events, managing financial functions, and engaging in public speaking. In April 2023, she received her call to ministry at Hope City Church of Colorado, where she was ordained as a Minister in 2024, focusing on communication and information distribution.

April’s extensive background encompasses 20 years of professional development, real estate development, and education and training facilitation. She has also trained aspiring ministers in Christian life skills, apologetics, and biblical studies for over a decade. Her core strengths include an innate ability to collaborate effectively with management, clients, and colleagues to achieve shared goals.

​

April holds an Associate Arts in General Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and Christian Leadership, and a Certification in Biblical Studies & Applications. With her unwavering dedication to teaching and preaching the gospel, Evangelist April Atchison continues to be a beacon of hope and inspiration in her community.

Pastor Antwan Powels

​

Antwan Powels is a Managing Partner and the Chief Executive Officer of New Rome. Antwan is the visionary behind New Rome and an individual whose name has become synonymous with innovation and achievement in many ministry and business circles. Antwan’s extensive background in technology has placed him at the helm of some of the most groundbreaking medical advancements in recent history. His expertise has taken him all over the world, from Temecula to Tokyo, as a recognized leader and accomplished professional.


Excelling both in the background and the foreground, Antwan also conducts workshops for COGIC on topics such as, monetizing digital media and how to effectively use modern technology in ministry. In 2006, Antwan was appointed Pastor of the Indio Mount Zion COGIC in the city of Indio, CA by Bishop Charles E. Blake Sr. The following year, he was appointed Superintendent of the Indio District, becoming the youngest COGIC superintendent to be appointed in Southern California 1st Jurisdiction. His leadership and love for God continues to transform the Coachella Valley. As with his business endeavors, Antwan’s ministry seeks to empower people. His mission is to develop the people spiritually, educationally, culturally, and economically. Under his loving hand, Indio Mount Zion has become one of the most diverse congregations in the region and draws regular attendees from over 90 miles away.


Antwan juggles his many hats with exceptional ability. A highly talented professional, prolific speaker, and inspirational man of God, he continues to be acknowledged as one of the best hearts and minds there is in business and ministry alike. He currently serves as Assistant General Secretary of Technology for the Church of God In Christ Inc.
